Terms of Service

Last updated: December 2, 2025

Welcome to GoldSummit Fontana Decks. By using our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before we start working on your deck project.

Our Services

We provide professional deck building, repair, and maintenance services in Fontana, CA and surrounding areas. When you hire us, we will work with you to design and build the outdoor space you want. Our team handles everything from initial consultation to final cleanup.

Getting Started

Here is how the process works. First, you contact us for a free quote. We will visit your property to assess the project and provide an estimate. If you accept our quote, we will create a written agreement that outlines the work, timeline, and payment terms. Both parties need to sign this agreement before we begin any work.

Payment Terms

We require a deposit before starting your project. The deposit amount will be specified in your contract. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. If your project takes longer than expected due to weather or unforeseen issues, we will keep you informed and adjust the timeline accordingly.

Changes to Your Project

If you want to make changes after we have started work, just let us know. We will provide a new estimate for any additional work or materials needed. Changes may affect your project timeline and final cost. We will always get your approval before proceeding with any changes that increase the price.

Permits and Regulations

We handle all necessary permits and ensure your deck meets local building codes in Fontana. However, you are responsible for any homeowners association approvals if applicable. We recommend checking with your HOA before we begin construction.

Our Warranty

We stand behind our work. All our installations come with a workmanship warranty. The specific terms will be outlined in your contract. Materials are covered by the manufacturer warranties, which we will provide documentation for. If you notice any issues with our workmanship, contact us right away so we can make it right.

Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide access to your property during the agreed work hours. Please ensure that pets are secured and any obstacles are cleared from the work area. You are also responsible for maintaining your deck after installation according to the care instructions we provide.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your project, please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellations made before work begins may result in a partial refund of your deposit, minus any costs we have already incurred for materials or permits. Once work has started, cancellation terms will be based on the work completed up to that point.

Limitation of Liability

We carry full insurance for your protection. However, we are not responsible for damage to underground utilities that are not properly marked, or for delays caused by weather, material shortages, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will always do our best to minimize any inconvenience.

Dispute Resolution

If you have any concerns about our work or service, please contact us directly. We want to resolve any issues quickly and fairly. Most problems can be solved through honest conversation. If we cannot reach an agreement, disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in San Bernardino County, California.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted means you accept the new terms.
